What do base trims of the Silverado offer?
With the Chevy Silverado, you have the option of a regular, extended, or crew cab as well as short, regular, or long beds. All trim levels of the Silverado come with a substantial amount of features, many of which you can get at the base trim level. That base trim is the Work Truck, which comes standard with single-zone air conditioning, 17-inch wheels, a pair of USB ports, 12 cargo tie-down points, cargo lamps, a 6-speaker audio system, a tilt steering wheel, and power windows. You also get a massive amount of safety features via the Chevy Safety Assist, which has adaptive cruise control. In addition, rear-wheel-drive is standard at the base trim, four-wheel-drive is available for those who wish to have a touch more traction.
What do higher trims of the Silverado come with?
While the Silverado is terrific at the base trim level, it gets even better the further you go up the trim ladder. We continue with the Custom Trail Boss, which has a Z71 off-road suspension and recovery hooks, a skid plate, an auto-locking rear differential, and a trailering package. More customization options are available for the LT as it has chrome bumpers, a new interior with digital gauges, and a massive 13.4-inch touchscreen. Then we have the RST, which has several impressive items in both the performance and luxury department as it has black bumpers and LED taillamps, while the new ZR2 comes equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-speaker Bose audio system, high-intensity LED headlamps, dirt-friendly 275/70R-18 tires, an oil cooler, a transmission cooler.
