2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer Wins Exclusive IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Award

For 2022, the Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is the proud owner of a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. TSP+ is the highest honor handed out by the IIHS, and the Trailblazer is one of a select few vehicles to receive it this year.

Why the Trailblazer Won

To achieve its TSP+ rating, the Trailblazer had to ace six different collision tests with “Good” scores. The results demonstrate that the Trailblazer does a great job of protecting passengers in front, side, and rollover crashes.

The Trailblazer also checked an important box by featuring standard “Advanced” or “Superior” automatic braking technology to prevent or mitigate front vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian collisions. And it met yet another IIHS requirement by offering “Acceptable” or “Good” headlights on every trim.
