Two of Chevrolet’s most popular SUVs, the Equinox and the Blazer, will soon be available in all-electric versions.

We’re still waiting on in-depth information about both of these models, although we’re pretty sure both of them will be built on General Motors’ cutting-edge new Ultium electric vehicle platform.

Chevrolet Equinox EV

We do know that the Equinox EV will be available in LT and RS trims, and it’s expected to have an affordable starting price of about $30,000. We also know from photos that the Equinox EV will show off a design that’s distinct from the regular Equinox, complete with a sleeker, wider look and thin, horizontal LED lamps.

Chevrolet Blazer EV

Details are even sparser when it comes to the Blazer EV. The big news so far for this model is that it will be available in Chevrolet’s legendary high-performance SS trim. That makes a lot of sense to us, considering that the regular Blazer is already one of Chevy’s sportiest SUVs.

The Equinox EV and Blazer EV are expected to go on sale in fall 2023. These two models will join a growing lineup of Chevrolet EVs including the Bolt, the Bolt EUV, and the upcoming Silverado EV truck.
